About Us

Down with Running (DwR) helps individuals with special needs set and achieve their physical goals. We work in one-on-one settings and through community events to help our applicants build confidence, push themselves, and make it happen.

 

No matter the starting point, DwR is in your corner so you don't have to go it alone. Couch to 5k? We got you. Learning to ride a bike? We've got wheels. Below are a few more examples of the types of assistance we offer.

  • Running your first mile (or any distance!)

  • ​Covering race entry fees

  • Building a consistent workout routine

  • Setting/tracking personal fitness milestones

  • Discovering new sports and physical activity
